Dr. V. TAMIL SELVI, M.E., Ph.D., is a Professor and Head in the Department of Science and Humanities. She obtained her B.E degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Annamalai University, Chidambaram, M.E degree in Applied Electronics from University of Madras and Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai. She has been in the teaching profession for the past 27 years. Her areas of interest include Renewable Energy Systems, Control systems, Biomedical Engineering, Signal processing and Image processing. She has organized conferences, workshops, Short Term Training Programs,FDTP and attended FDP related to her areas of interest. She has organized LabVIEW training for academicians and students. She is a Life member of ISTE , ISOI, IE(I)& Annual Member of IEEE .She has published papers in reputed International journals and conferences. She has published patents in latest research topics. She is recognized as the reviewer for InSc Journals.
