Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development centre (IEDC) in RMD Engineering College was established in the year 2013-2014. It is funded by Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi for five years with a total grant of Rs.45,30,000/-. Out of Five completed projects for the year 2015-16, two projects are being scrutinized for patenting during 2016-2017. Two projects identified during 2014-15, patenting have been applied and it is in the process of getting the approval at the earliest.
