Every year for the past 15 years we have had curious minds attend the event with great enthusiasm. Be it flexing your technical muscles or testing your creativity or tasting great food, Crescenza has always strived to create great memories for all of us.

Technical Events

Paper Presentation

Description:

Excited about the recent trends in technology? Will you showcase your knowledge and presentation skills if you are provided a platform? Have you taken extra efforts to research more about it and managed to create a paper out of it? If yes, then there is just one more step- present your paper and win exciting cash prizes and also take away great learning from your experience.

Rules are as follows:

  • Maximum of three members are allowed to present a paper.
  • Paper should contain 10 to 15 slides.
  • Time given for each presentation would be less than 7 minutes
  • The paper could be relating to computer science domain.

Prizes:

First prize: Rs.1500

Second prize: Rs.1000

Third prize: Rs.750

Technical Quiz

Description:

Are you an absolute tech-geek? A quiz is a form of game or mind sport, in which the players (as individuals or in teams) attempt to answer questions correctly. It is a game to test your knowledge about a certain subject. The questions will be in the form of multiple choice, True/False statement, etc. As a whole, you will get a new experience of technical quiz event, whomever guesses the answer first, will be in the top list. Express your technical skills and stand a chance to win a coupons.

Rules are as follows:

  • It is an individual event
  • The winners will be selected based on the timing
  • The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile phones or any other electronic devices.
  • Audience should not give any hints or clues to the participants.
  • Participants must guess the right answer within the allotted time for each question.

Prizes:

First prize: Rs.750

Second prize: Rs.500

Wavelength coding

Description:

This is a team event with 2 members per team. You can code only in C language. Each participant is given 10mins to solve the problem. Once the time runs out for one participant the other can continue from where he left

Rules are as follows:

  • The participants can only code in C,C++,Java.
  • The participants should not exceed the given time.
  • Any kind of malpractices will not be entertained.

Prizes:

1st Prize - Rs.1000

2nd Prize - Rs.750

Blind Coding

Description:

It is an individual event. Competition is divided into two levels based on the complexity of the programming. Level 1: A program with low complexity. Level 2. A program with medium complexity.

Rules are as follows:

  • The participants have to code the given problem with monitor off.(C,C++,Java)
  • In each level,a period of time will be given to understand the problem.
  • Participants has to submit their code in the given time.
  • Any of the malpractices will not be entertained and leads to disqualification.

Prizes:

1st Prize - Rs.750

2nd Prize - Rs.500

Compile Once

Description:

A on-campus event, where a problem is given to every individual. Participants are allowed to compile only once and must show the output. Levels of the event are decided upon the number of participants completing the first problem. The participants must find the solution within 8 minutes. The complexity of problem increases when level goes up.

Rules are as follows:

  • It is an individual event.
  • Browsing is prohibited.
  • Use of mobile phones or other electronic media will lead to disqualification.
  • The participant must code only in C,C++,Java languages.
  • Registered participants are only considered.

Prizes:

1st Prize - Rs.750

2nd Prize - Rs.500

Non-Technical Events

RUBIKS CUBE

Description:

  • 1. Are you brainy enough to solve a 3D puzzle?!
  • 2. Presenting to you the famous "RUBIK'S CUBE".
  • 3. Here is one more platform to exhibit your talent.
  • 4. Make it done and win exciting prizes!!

Rules are as follows:

  • Cube will be provided.
  • One person will be allowed to play at a time.
  • Maximum of 20 minutes will be given.
  • All the sides of the cube should be set completely.

Prizes:

First prize: Rs.500

Second prize: Rs.250

THE TREX RUNNER

Description:

  • 1. Have you heard of "THE TREX RUNNER"!?
